BEFORE YOU SIGN

Is This a Good Deal?

You have a written deal in hand. Before you sign, run the Deal Check: enter the proposed numbers, review the calculations and findings, and take clear questions back to the desk.

Built from dealership experience since 2016. Independent education. No dealership affiliation.

The question behind the payment

The deal sheet looks official. Columns line up. Totals total. It has the quiet authority of a document that has already been decided.

It hasn't been. A deal sheet is an opening position printed in a confident font — built by the side that writes a hundred of them a month, for the side that reads one every few years. Padded fees sit in it looking like taxes. Add-ons sit in it looking like standard equipment. A stretched term makes a payment look gentle while the total quietly grows by thousands.

And the moment is engineered against you: you've picked the vehicle, you've invested the afternoon, the finish line is right there. Nobody wants to be the person who slows it down with questions — especially questions they can't phrase.

That's what the Deal Check is for. Bring the numbers exactly as they're written. It works through what they raise and hands you the questions, worded, before you sign — while the sheet is still negotiable, because after the signature it isn't.

What you receive

  • Your written proposal, entered as written: vehicle, selling price, rebate, itemized dealer fees, add-ons, taxes, cash, financing or lease terms and any trade.
  • Transaction calculations: effective discount, fee and add-on totals, trade equity and principal reconciliation when the required inputs are complete.
  • Financing checks: standard amortizing-loan payment, scheduled-payment total, finance-charge estimate and comparison with the quoted payment. Lease entries receive a terms-verification prompt rather than a loan-formula verdict.
  • Plain-language findings: CLEAR FROM ENTERED DATA, VERIFY, MISSING INPUT or NEEDS HUMAN REVIEW. The tool shows up to five findings, explains the issue and gives a question or action.
  • Missing information stays visible: unknown inputs are not silently treated as zero. Figures are labeled as customer entered, calculated or missing.
  • Access: the protected online Deal Check opens after verified payment using your Stripe checkout reference. It checks entered numbers; it does not independently verify a contract or declare a deal fair.

Is this for you?

For you if: you have a written offer — a buyer's order, a worksheet, a quoted deal — and you're inside the window where you can still walk back in with questions. That's hours to days, and it's exactly the window this was built for.

Not for you if: you don't have real numbers yet. With no deal written, there's nothing to check — start with the free fit tool or the $5 Seven Numbers and come back when a sheet exists. And not for you if the deal is already signed; this is a before-you-sign tool.

Before you decide

"Sixty-nine dollars is a lot for a check."

Put the one-time $69 price against the written transaction you are about to accept. The value is a structured review of the entered numbers and questions before signing. No savings or other outcome is promised.

"Is it worth it on a smaller purchase?"

Honest answer: the smaller and cleaner the deal, the less this earns its keep. It's built for real deals with real numbers — financing, a trade, add-ons in play. A simple cash purchase of an inexpensive car may need nothing more than the $5 Seven Numbers. We'd rather tell you that than sell you the top of the ladder.

"The dealership gave me the numbers in writing. Isn't that settled?"

Written is not the same as final, and final is not the same as fair. Until you sign, the sheet is an offer — one built by the other side. The Check exists because "it's printed right there" has ended more buyers' questions than any other sentence in the process.

"Do I need the $5, $19, or $39 products first?"

No. No earlier purchase is required. Those answer earlier questions — reading a deal, choosing how to buy, checking a vehicle. If you've already arrived at a written deal, this is the step that matches where you stand.

"How fast does this work? My deal is live now."

The protected Deal Check opens after verified payment. Reopen it with your Stripe checkout reference. Enter the written figures to run the checks; no appointment or manual review is included.

"What if the check finds nothing wrong?"

A clean result means no contradiction appeared in the checks with enough input. It does not establish that a deal is good or externally verified. You still compare the result with the written proposal and resolve missing terms.

No savings, approval, or payment outcome is promised. Educational decision support.
